Today I decided to have a look at what is happening ing the Premiership football games.
I nearly put something on the Fulham vs Arsenal game but as I was looking at it Fulham scored. I had thought about the Football cash generator for that one. Would not have looked so good after that first goal. However Fulham did go 2 up at one point and then I would have got the odds that I wanted. But at the time I didn’t know that and I am pleased I didn’t do it.

I put money on the Aston Villa vs Man City game and it would have been better if Aston Villa had scored first. But Man City got one in and I was left wondering if I should trade out. I could have traded out to a loss of 5.78. I held my nerve anyway and Man City put another in the back of the net. I got the odds that I wanted then. I placed an order for the amount as per the FCG spreadsheet with the odds that I wanted which was 7. It was filled soon after and I am all greened up. Would be nice if Villa could pull it back to a draw because for I will win more money if that happens.
The other game I am working with is the Man United vs Everton – So far Man U are 1 nil up and I will make money if they win. I set this one up as a dutch with the draw as a hedging bet. I am tempted to cash out but there is not a huge pile of money on this one and I reckon that Man U will probably win there at home anyway. So long as they don’t lose anyway, is OK for me.
I just looked at it and I went for the equalise and be greened up option. As it stands not I will get 1.30 if either team wins and 23.29 if it is a draw. I have suddenly become an Everton fan – Or at least until they score to bring it level anyhow. —– Man U are 2 nil up now – still OK profit for me though.

I went to to the SoccerVista web site and had a look at what was going on there, and decided to put some money on the Aston Villa game. I dutched it home win and the draw, both as earners and no hedging. That went well and I made money with it.

This evening I had money on the Barcelona vs Villa Real – despite Barcelona’s injury problems I thought they would be unlikely to lose at home so I did the home win and the draw on that one too. At 77 mins it was 3 nil and the full time score is 4-0. More money in the bank.

The next one on the list is Athletico Madrid vs bottom of the table Real Sociedad and I have gone for the home win and draw with the dutch again. I could have watched the game on TV but I only have on TV and it is being used for something else right now – Never mind !

I didn’t look at the horses today because of being busy with setting a mambo site as I was fed up with the look af the old Wizardgold site.

I have just set up a bet with STW on Betfair using the multi dividend coupon. I have selected 5 teams that I think will win at home. I have a break even set at 3 out of 5. OK so long as 3 of the teams win the games I will make money.

First time I have used this with buying the coupon so I only put 15 euro on it. i will know later this evening how things went and I will update this post…..

I have chosen Feyenord, Español, Sevilla, Leverkusen and Newcastle. Will be good to have wins on all of those but 3 will give me some money.

It is a little different to the usual because I recorded without a script and didn’t have time to mess about taking out the bits that I fluffed. The subject is me using STW software to run the Football cash Generator.

I looked at 3 games – Barcelona playing away at Levski Sofia . Werder Bremen vs Chelsea and Valencia vs Olympiakos.

They have a problem with one of the servers, so I can’t get in. Shame as I was looking forward to using IRIS on one of the races at Wolverhampton.
Oh Well these things happen on the internet.

I am trying to get information at the moment on the viability of using an In Play Multi Lay coupon to lay the field at 1.01.
The idea is that if I lay 100 on the bet if only one horse matches then I lose 1 euro.
If 2 horses match like with a photo finish than I win my 100 euro. You would have to have such a race 1 in 95 tries to break even, taking the Betfair fee into account.

I did 5 games and didn’t lose money with any of them. I didn’t make anything on the Arsenal game because although I thought it would be a banker I dutched it so the draw was a hedging bet. I just got my stake back on that one.

Nice to see a profit for the day…..

Did I mention that I use a Mac to to all my computer stuff. In fact I have 2 on my desk – an Intel processor iMac and a Mac Mini. I still use the Mac Mini a lot because it has a slighty bigger screen attached and also because it was there first and I just feel at home with it. I use the iMac to do the STW  betting as that is a Windows program which I run inside Parallels virtualisation software.
I changed to the Mac last year and  using Windows now just bugs me.  Check out my Mac Info Page

I did win 123 pounds sterling in the Wednesday edition of the UK lottery. I am extra looking forward to the Friday Euro Millions now because it has rolled over to an obscene about of money this week 180 million Euro and I am even tempted to use some of my winnings to get a second entry in the Euro Millions.

I got lucky with this one – very lucky. About time seeing as one of my choices today lost me money. Well I was watching the game on the TV and I saw that Bilbao had a free kick right on the area and I thought I would take the money that was on the table to Green Up.

Well they didn’t score with that one but on the 90th minute they did put one in the net and with the way that the greening up worked I had it so that I would get 1.11 euro if either side won and 21 euro if it ended up a draw.

So you can imagine my delight when Bilbao put the ball in there beating the Valencia goalkeeper Canavares with a lovely header from a cross from the right  of the penalty area.

Today I was using the information fromt he soccervista .com site to choose the games. I was doing great 4 games in a row winning money then the Turkish team Besitkas lost at home against the odds.

Good job Bilbao came up with the goods in my last one for the day.

Yesterday I used IRIS for the first time and it was pretty amazing. Seeing the horses in more or less real ime with extra info there too, was so useful. I decided on a horse that was 4th and laid it to lose. It did lose and it was a fairly easy fiver for me.

The only thing is that you have to look out for the horses that are accelerating (IRIS shows this info ) because the horse I chose put on a bit of a spurt for the finishing post and I was kind of wondering what was going to happen in the photo finish. But then it was my first time with IRIS using STW. I can’t wait to use it again as I am just so impressed with it.

When I use it next time I will record the action and put a voice over on it so you can see how it goes. On the STW site anyway they have some videos of IRIS in action but I think a narration of a person using it will be an enhancement to give you a better idea of how it works.

Would you credit it that Man United couldn’t put the ball in the net against Southend???
I was expecting that to be a banker for Man U to win and it goes the other way. Cristian Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney must have been asleep during the game.

I had 3 other dutches working on the football and they all worked out good. I ended up being 12 euro down on the day when up until the Manchester game I was profit all the way.
