What a game and didn’t Spain really deserve to win it. They out played the Germans all over the field. Excellent defence, brilliant mid field and Fernando Torres took his chance this evening and got a second goal of the tournament. As I write this I can hear car horns being tooted in the town 5 km away. They have obviously run out of fireworks at this stage.

The camp site where I am working for the summer has about 3oo German youngsters staying, I think they will all be crying into their Bratwurst for a few days. At least they are enjoying the Spanish summer sun even if the football didn’t go the way they would have liked.

The Germans didn’t get too many chances on goal and Spain could have had more goals. It was a surprise that  the final score was only 1 – 0.

I didn’t even have any money on the game. I was too tired to set anything up even though many of the betting sites had extra offers for the duration of the tournament. Mind you they might have special offers for Wimbledon.

It is going to be a long old time between now and the start of the Premiership……..

For me the best player of the Spanish side was Senna. He really did a super job in the midfield.

I was out at the cinema watching the film The Incident with Mark Wahlberg. Good film I enjoyed it, that Shylama (or spelling similar) is a super director for making a tense thriller type movie. The Germans didn’t need me watching them to be able to score 3 goals and beat Portugal 3-2. They were 3-1 up and the Portugese made them sweat for the last few minutes. They have been a few games with a decider in the last minute or in injury minutes added on. There were 4 extra minutes with this game.

I got money cashed out of BWin with this game and also the qualifying bet at 888Sports went well too. I will be looking at the next quarter final next to use the bonus at 888Sports.

That was a super game last night Italy vs France. France didn’t look up to the job right from the start and it got worse as Ribery had to go off through injury and the they lost a man from a sending off. Maybe for a while in the second half they looked like they could even score a goal but the luck wasn’t with them and two nil the eventual score.
