How to trade on football markets on a betting exchange

Games in play and finished Yay there is football on again. In play at the moment is Glasgow Rangers against a team from Lithuania Kaunas. Half time showing a nil nil draw.

Panathanaikos who were a good enough team a few seasons ago beating a Georgia team by a couple of goals.

Fenebahce one of the good Turkish teams from last season doing well also.

These sort of games would be good for the Football Generator probably. Of course you would look at the odds available in the FCG spreadsheet before doing something.

You would be hoping for a score in favour of Glasgow to be able to benefit from the change in the odds when the goal was scored. Same with the other big dogs too. You know the problem occurs if the underdog scores first though. Not much you can do in that case except wait for the game to turn around.

It terms of straight betting these game would be too unpredictable to make any bets and in any case I do not encourage gambling. Trading and having a staking plan is the way to go for safety of the betting bank.

Time to break out BetIE betting software to be able to do some testing of systems like the FCG.

Podcast coming soon to talk more about the Football cash generator in use.

Games played todayOK guys so there is no Premiership to enjoy and to trade with right now but hey there there is the InterToto cup. Here are the result from the gamers played today. Maybe they are not sexy or top flight but maybe because of the cup status you could have made some money trading on the games.

Unfortunately I was at work with no internet connection so I could not partake, but if I had been at home I would have had a look to see if there was enough liquidity on Betfair.

By the look of it the games would have been great for the under 2.5 goals market type of trading that I like. No goals in the any of the games before 10 minutes, and by that time I would have been in and out of the market to make the 1% of the bank target.

On Betfair though remember that liquidity of the market is worth noting and if there is not much money there you might consider looking at another game. The same applies to Betdaq and WBX where there would be less money and the bigger games are worth waiting for as they will be more predictable.

Shame to see the demise of Binarysoft which was my choice for trading, not least because of it being cross platform, but because I liked the way it worked. What now do I have to start up a windows program on my Mac using parallels of on the portable computer through Ubuntu using Wine? Well I have thought about it and I will keep the Mac clear of Windows and try the BetAngel professional betting software on Ubuntu. I will probably give BetIE a try out too seeing as I have it paid for and it is a useful piece of betting software ayway.
