I have been using BetAngel to trade under 2.5 goals on the Aston Villa vs Everton game today. I didn’t used to use an insurance bet but I am trying it out today and liking it. I have put the bet on the under 2.5 goals before the game started and also a bet that there will be a goal in the first 10 minutes.
Young put the ball in the net at 9 minutes and the insurance bet gave me a free bet on the unders market. That was because I got 1.86 on the under 2.5 and then I got odds of 11 on there being a goal early. So 100 euro on the unders is completely covered by the insurance bet. At 22 minutes into the game and the odds are on their way back down so that probably at half time I will be able to green up or just scratch out the bet to be able to take all the profit from the other bet. That is pretty cool.
At 32 minutes in the game the lay bet is available for 2.16 So I could green up to a small loss of 16.26 euro which will give me a total of 83.74 less the commission on the trade.
BetAngel is great to be able to do the bets with one click and very important to get the bet in quickly if there is a time constraint on the bet. The under 2.5 market it is particularly important to have one click betting with this technique. You have to get your green up bet in by 9 minutes and 45 seconds. It really works a treat
What I did in the end was to let the profits run as so you should !! And greened up on the under 2.5 goals market at about 48 minutess. I got odds on the lay bet of 1.75 which gave a profit of 3.94 Euro to add to the profit from the goal scored in the first ten minutes.
