I traded a couple of games Sunderland vs Newcastle and Liverpool vs Fulham and using BetIE live and increased the betting bank by about 3 or 4 % then I messed up with the Valencia game which I was even able to watch on the TV and ended up with a loss of about 2 or 3%.

Looking back at what I did wrong was due to the goal going in about 12 mins into the game and I still had a liability of 5 Euro. I backed it again but I didn’t back it with enough and on top of that I should have waited for the prices to settle a little before going back in. after the second goal at odds of 5.3 and the odds went up some more leaving me longer to wait before the inevitable downward direction started to happen. Also I noticed that the liquidity was a bit poor compared to a Premiership game. The gap between the back price and the lay price was more than a tick or two for a while. On top of those mistakes I just waited too long I had a fiver as liability when the third goal went in and I could have reduced that to 2.95 before the money was lost when David Villa scored again.

On a brighter note I was very pleased with the trading I did on the earlier games and the loss was only small.

I am looking forward to the football games on today, there is the  Birmingham City vs Aston Villa which will be a scorcher one way or another. Local derby game adding the extra spice in the match.

I am watching out for the nil nil odds also. Specifically the odds in the total goals market. Odds above 1.1 are value odds when you look at the probability of there being a nil nil scoreline.

Racing Place

Still looking at how things are going with Racing Place and yesterday they managed to have a loss of 1.1 approx points, so they are still having a very bad month of 54 betting bank points but at least it wasn’t so bad yesterday. Personally I think what could be affecting it is the change of the season. I saw last year when I was looking at the Daily Donkey system that strange things start happening on the race courses due to the changing condition. Donkeys start to win races !!!
