How to trade on football markets on a betting exchange

Using winnings at Bet24 and laying off at Betfair. With this one I should have most of the winnings either in Betfair or be at a stage when I can withdraw from Bet24. They have a great offer at Bet24 of up to 35 Euro – 50% of your deposit. I backed a draw at Berlin

I also have money on the West Bromwich Albion game

I should have been trading on this game but I got home late from work and I wasn’t feeling too good either. I was hoping to watch it on the TV but but no luck there either. So I watched some crappy programmes instead, with no desire to move from the sofa.

I did have a bet running on the game though with a matched bet thing using Sunderlands the bookie. I backed the Draw/Barcelona  in the half time fulltime market. I used that one as it had the closest odds available. I have also already set up the next bet with the free €10 that I have already in the account. It seems to be stake returned offer which is good. The offer in total is for €50 but to get the next €10 I have to do five bets of €10. I will have to do some sums on that to see if it is worth doing. Either that or I could ask my friend at Bet72.com for his thoughts on it.

The next bet I have is on the Zenit game in the UEFA cup this evening.

Just set a withdrawal with the 550 of winnings from WinUnited. That’s going to take 3 days to get to my bank account.

I had layed the unders before the game and with an early goal I thought there was a chance that there could be another 2 goals. The game ended 2-0 though and I was happy to have been able to reduce the liability  on that  side of a matched bet  that was in place with WinUnited.

All the Betfair bets lost today and I now have just about all of my money in WinUnited. Hope to make a withdrawal soon or at least get some more money over to Betfair, by losing on the W.U. side.

I sent in an email and within half an hour I get the free bet credited to my account in AscotSports. Not bad huh? The Bet is not stake returned  but I dealt with that when I set up the new matched bet in the Spreadsheet. I backed the draw in the Aston Villa game at odds of 3.55 and the best odds I could get for the lay on Betfair was 3.95.

The spreadsheet tells me to place a bet of €29.42 on the lay side of the draw on Betfair. This gives me a liability of €86.80. Thats what I lose on Betfair if it ends as a draw. But I will have €114 as winnings on AscotSports. The spreadsheet tells me that I will have profit of €27.95 whichever way it goes.

I would prefer if either side wins though to have the money cashed out in Betfair. Or I will be making a withdraw through AscotSports.

here is a screen shot I took earlier of the position I had on the Bundesliga game. I decided at 70 minutes to not take any chances and green up. It would have been great if Duisburg had come from behind and scored enough to win I would have had money on both sides of the matched bet. It cost me €3.50 to do that but I did have the peace of mind for the last 20 minutes of the game.

What have I gone crazy ????

Nope not at all. I opened an account with two new bookies today. 888Sports and Ascot Sports. With AscotSports I put in €45 because if you use Neteller to fund it they will match your first bet up to €45 – Only up to €40 when using other funding. I have laid off the bet in Betfair and will have a loss of about €4.50 whichever side wins. BUT I will have a €45 of a free bet available to me tomorrow in AscotSports. SO I will have to do some more matched betting to cash it out.

With 888Sports I put in €30 to take advantage of the €30 free bet I will get. That is the one that I have done with the Arsenal vs Liverpool game. Whatever happens I will be seeing an increase in the betting bank.
