It is nil nil and the Russians are camped in the Rangers half. Just before half time there was a call for a penalty and Rangers were very luck for the ref not to give it.

Still looks like Zenit will win the game barring some strange bit of luck going the direction of Rangers. Well that could happen with the way that Rangers have made it to the Final in the first place.
Darchville still looks like he could be dangerous for Rangers but only if the rest of the team can get the ball to him and then give him some support.

As far as the game plan for Rangers it is going the way they expected. Zenit are the better team but Rangers are defending well. I would like Zenit to win this one. It would work out very nice for me with the matched betting. I will still make money if it goes the other way or is a draw but why not hope for the easy option.

Premiership over for the season just the FA Cup to look forward to, although I will be working when the game is to be played.

There is the final of the UEFA Cup to look forward to I suppose. I will be €45 better off whatever happens although it will be easier for me if Rangers lose as I have that side of the deal laid on Betfair.

I suppose we can enjoy the European Football during the summer but without England in the mix it will not be so interesting for us English. I expect I will give my support to Spain instead. I have not seen so many of the Spanish La Liga games this year as I have been watching more English TV

I did the work on the Rangers, Getafe and PSV games. The odds were not great value to start with I would have liked 1.90 or over – which is 53 on the binary scale in BinarySoft BDI. But it seem that most people are expecting plenty of goals in these games.

I was wondering what was going on with the Getafe game when it was suspended for a long time, checked on the live scores site to see that it was because of a red card given, a Getafe player was sent of at 6 minutes. The odds in that game had not been changing much and I was toying with the idea of trading out to a small loss but in the end I let it go to a very small profit. My target is 1% of the present bank which is just over 200 Euro and I have locked in €1.65 . By being disciplined like this I will get the target for the year which at 1% per trading day is impressive. In the past I have got greedy and ended up losing the ban, or at least a large part of it. I am not going to do that again.

What I did today was to divide the target of the €2 from trading by the 3 games that I was involved in and used a small amount per click in BinarySoft. I traded half of it out at about 5 minutes to take half of the profit i wanted and then let them run to bring up the amount. I could have set a larger amount per click with having a bigger betting bank. I could have traded out sooner. I traded 6 clicks from 59.2 to 65.4 and if I had have used a larger bet I could have perhaps done the same with three clicks. Obviously it is a larger risk but then it is for a shorter time. I think the quick in and out is better myself.

I have money coming to me from WinUnited, I was successful in setting up the withdrawal. I did have to send in documents to prove my identity first though. That happens sometimes  – With Sunderlands Bookmaker I had to send in docs to be able to get the first free bet.

I have to decide now whether it is worth following up with the rest of the trades to get the free bets iin Sunderlands. I have to place 5 bets of a tenner to get a tenner. I like it better when you only have to bet the one amount to get a free bet. I will do some sums and then decide.

I have made my choices early for tomorrow, basically I was looking for games where there were odds that were close enough. The plan is to back bet on Betdaq and lay off on Betfair. I have gone for games that are earlier in the evening and that might leave it that I can do more later in the evening, the Spanish games are always on later than anything else.

I went for a back bet on Marseille at odds of 3.55 who are playing in Russia against Zenit. I laid it off on Betfair for odds of 3.60 I used stakes of €30 on both sides of the position.

I put another bet on a different game so that all the eggs are not in one basket. I used the under/ over2,5 goals market with the Hamburg vs Bayer Leverkusen. Over all I will have a loss on the 2 games of about €1.75. But I will have a free bet of the equivalent of £25 on Betdaq. Have been meaning to get a Betdaq account running for a while to have a choice of odds for the trading on the under 2.5 goals markets. I got back odds of 2.21 on Betdaq on the overs with a bet of €5 and lay odds of 2.3 on Betfair with a stake of €4.89.

In the Terms and conditions it says that the account will be credited within 72 hours. Hopefully it will be sooner than that so I can do some more trading, also the bets have to be placed on odds of 2.0 or over.

Rangers are playing Werder Bremen at home, Bolton play Sporting Lisbon  and Spurs have PSV Eindoven at home, while Everton are away in Fiorentina. So  there will be some interesting games this evening. Rangers game will be tough Bremen are a good side usually and as far as I can see anything could happen in the other games.

I will try to trade for a couple of ticks at the start of the games and get out early. I should be able to hit the 1% target that way easily enough. If there are any goals I may trade further, as the odds fall pretty  fast just after a goal.  Have to be on the look out for a quick equaliser but that doesn’t happen that often.

I would be tempted to do something with the other games on this evening, for exampple the Benfica vs Getafe but it will be better to concentrate on the games with the British clubs involvement because there will be more liquidity in those games.

I will probably start the trades just as the games are about to get under way and put in the sell order when the match has started. Then it will be fingers crossed for the movement of the odds with the under 2.5 goals markets to go as they always do when there are no goals scored. If the odds look a little on the slow side then I might consider trading out half of the opening position for less profit rather than letting it ride.

Soccer Mystic and BetAngel will be the tools of choice this evening. I could do the same sort of thing with BetIE and there is a hedging tool within the software too. BetIE is good because there are no monthly fees, very good value. I like to see a full ladder interface though as you get with the aforementioned softwares and also with Binarysoft. Binarysoft has the extra advantage for me seeing as I work on a Mac and it works native and I don’t have to break out the Parallels virtual software to run Windows as a virtual machine inside my iMac. Horses for courses really and whatever it is that you are doing on Betfair.
